Report: Mediocre Teacher Training Programs

Another attack on the US education system. Studies to show how kids are learning, studies how the teachers are doing, studies on how the studies are doing. It is a never ending cycle of jargon that is used to justify one basic issue, our education system needs an overhaul. It is the intent of having studies done to examine where the failure is and to fix it. However, so much emphasis is put on the studies that it results in finger pointing on what or who is responsible for the failure. Most teachers are educated on how to teach, however, once they are working in the education system, they are placed in a position to focus teaching standardized test to prove that kids are learning. And that is simply what kids are taught, taking a test.
